More from self-directed 2.

Final piece and some supporting work for second self-directed project at uni. The inspiration for this came from the connections I made from the brief to both ice and origami.

Final Piece and some supporting work done for the first self-directed project at uni. Idea revolves around layering and collaging different works together.

Not a great photo but this is the final outcome of the second uni project. After being given a book about the Cobra group of artists, I had to produce a response based on an image in the book using at least 3 media. This painting is done from a photograph in the book. Although it isn’t really done in the Cobra style, I’ve taken inspiration from the vivid colour schemes used by the artists and tapped into their care-free sort of attitude. Painting is heavy-body acrylic, collage and ink on A1 paper.

This is my final outcome in response to my first university project. Inspiration taken from this photograph (and others) taken at the water meadows in beautiful Winchester.

May 2011- This is the final piece I did for my A-Level exam this year. The subject is my uncle and the medium is heavy body acrylic on canvas. The piece is slightly larger than A1.
